Take to the Solent in a 68ft Clipper Yacht and enjoy a thrilling afternoon of sailing. After a hard day at sea you can relax and unwind to the supremely luxurious Spitbank Fort.

Day 1 – Set Sail

09.00 - Arrive with your team at The Solent Forts Departure Lounge, Gosport, where you have an opportunity to relax and meet fellow crew mates over an informal breakfast. We’ll run through the day giving key information on the schedule and weather.

09.30 - Once on board, the skipper will give a full safety briefing and introduce you to the yacht and the basic principles of sailing.

10.00 - Slip lines and head out into the Solent for tack, gybe and race training, demonstrating how to get the most out of the fantastic racing yachts.

12.00 - A hearty racing lunch will be served on board.

12.30 - An afternoon session of thrilling Sailing

16.30 - Arrive back at the Royal Clarence Marina after a great day on the water.

17.30 - You’ll be picked up from Royal Clarence Marina and privately driven to Spitbank Fort where you will be welcomed with a glass of Champagne. Settle into your room, or relax aching muscles in the roof top hot pool and sauna.

19.30 - Pre-dinner drinks and canapés in the stunning Crow’s Nest followed by a gourmet 4 course dinner served in the Officer’s Mess.

22.00 Enjoy a brandy under the stars around the Fire Pit with warm blankets. (Sing song optional!)

Day 2 – A lazy morning above the waves

9.00 - Tuck in to a Traditional Cooked breakfast served in the Officer’s Mess

10.00 - Enjoy a full guided history tour around Spitbank Fort

10.30 - Depart Spitbank Fort on our private boat for The Solent Forts Departure Lounge.

Our Luxury Sailing Package is available from £7,250 for a midweek break, with our weekend package available at £8,750.
