The Officer's Mess

The Officer's Mess is the stunning restaurant at Spitbank Fort. The historic arched, brickwork ceilings are expertly juxtaposed with the modern dining facilities. Not only is the interior stunning, but the room offers views towards Portsmouth Harbour and Spinnaker Tower.

The Victory Bar

Our stunning Victory Bar sponsored by Laurent-Perrier is a comfortable lounge area and is furnished with comfortable armchairs and sofas and is perfect for relaxation.

The Crow's Nest

The Crow's Nest is a modern and contemporary room with stunning views of the Solent and Portsmouth Harbour. This spectacular room is great for relaxation, holding intimate events and with its own terrace is perfect for barbecues.

The Fire Pit

With the stunning views towards the Isle of Wight, our Fire Pit is the perfect base to watch the sun set over the Solent.

With blankets and comfortable benches surrounding the fire pit this experience is not complete without an aperitif or hot chocolate.

Recreation Rooms

Within the basement of the Fort there are many historical rooms that have been transformed into magnificent recreation rooms. We have everything from darts to bar billiards, a pinball machine to a poker table.

Hot Pool & Sauna

The Hot Pool and Sauna are ideal for enjoying yourself in a restful environment. Offering their own changing rooms and showers they can be used at your leisure come day or night. Both are situated on the roof meaning you won't miss out on the views of the Solent, Isle of Wight and our other two stunning forts.

The Lighthouse

The original lighthouse built in 1890’s has been restored to its former glory. It has been extended in height and now boasts a fabulous copper roof. The ideal viewing platform, with views over the Solent, Portsmouth, The Isle of Wight and beyond.
